The holiday season is over for many of us, including for this fellow. It’s time to get to work! No more taking it easy for him now that company Look-E is collaborating Do IoT Fieldlab, TNO and MCS Benelux for a new project: Telegreen. Within the Telegreen project, remote robot control is explored to reshape greenhouse horticulture for the better. By allowing operators to control robots from a distance to pick tomatoes, 5G technology has the potential to make day-to-day work more flexible and efficient. It could open the door to wider workforce participation, and offer opportunities for those unable to work on-site. In short: humanoids take on the heavy, delicate, repetitive tasks, while 5G ensures instant, reliable communication between all systems.
