Tomatoworld is an information and education center located in the Westland region. It showcases how knowledge, innovation, and technologies contribute to solutions for feeding the world.
The demonstration greenhouse at Tomatoworld is data-driven. The use and analysis of data are central to improving production and plant health. A climate computer, sensors, and cameras in the greenhouse continuously gather data, which an advanced computer uses to control the cultivation process.
The Do IoT Fieldlab collaborates with Tomatoworld in the project “Do IoT for greenhouse horticulture.” With this, we accelerate digital innovations in South Holland for sustainable and efficient food production.
