Do IoT Fieldlab at the Berlin 6G Conference

The Berlin 6G Conference by 6G-Plattform kicked off today. And from 8 – 10 September, we’re joining Future Network Services and around 1,000 researchers, innovators and industry professionals from around the world to explore the future of 6G.

Our team is showcasing our evolved teleoperation demo for the very first time. Visitors in Berlin can operate a robot located in Delft (connected to the National 6G Testbed), and even feel the forces experienced by the robot. The demo shows exactly how teleoperation can support future applications. But also how wireless connectivity such as Beyond 5G can enable humans to interact with and influence the physical world from a distance.

During the plenary opening of the event, one message took centre stage: 6G will only succeed through international collaboration. The first international connections have already been made, and we’re looking forward to the rest of the week to continue broaden our network and further develop use cases.
