With cutting edge technology, SenTech AI is developing a smart ring and bracelet that monitor your health. The devices are equipped with innovative sensors and AI technology. The real time data will be translated to early warning signs of fatigue and distress.
During a Deep Dive, we explored together how network and computing capacity, such as edge computing, cloud processing and connectivity, can influence system performance. Our main focus was to define how this innovative technology can function reliably, with the utmost guarantees for privacy-sensitive data. The outcome of the Deep Dive: a detailed report, with identified bottlenecks and clear advice on the configuration of the required connectivity. Furthermore, we connected Sentech with experts at TU Delft, and our collaboration partners Mondai | House of AI and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
We are looking forward to the next steps towards creating accessible, privacy-compliant tools that can detect early signs of psychological stress in everyday environments. Through this collaboration, we are bringing together health, technology and connectivity to fast foward innovations that actively contribute to mental well-being.

Insects in your greenhouse that don’t help your plants grow, but actually cause damage. This well-known issue in the greenhouse horticulture sector, is what the company PATS wants to address. In 2024, PATS decided to monitor insects in a working greenhouse and to target them specifically (together with Do IoT Fieldlab, TNO, MCS, Tomatoworld, and RoboHouse). That was the initial goal of the project. Two years later, we look back at this practical experiment, as part of the “Do IoT in greenhouse horticulture project”. How did they proceed, and were the goals achieved?

How can you best map network coverage above the North Sea? That’s the key question driving the work of start-up Drocean. They are working on a coverage map using professional drones. Over the past few months, they have been able to validate and further refine their concept with support from Do IoT Fieldlab. The outcome? They are now ready to create the coverage map.
