Project update: Drocean flight test started

3,2,1… ready for take-off! 7 August marked the start of connectivity testing for the drones at the Unmanned Valley test site.

The tests are part of an experiment with Drocean, TNO, and MCS Benelux. This crucial step brings us closer to the goal: mapping 4G and 5G coverage across the North Sea.

With excellent weather and even better results, the day was a great success. As Nathan Janssen, founder of Drocean, summed up: “A perfect 10 out of 10 for a testing day!”. Like to read more about this project? Read more about the project here.
